James Edward Battle was born January 3, 1933 in Knoxville, TN. He transitioned peacefully at Ft. Sanders R.M.C.
James served in the U.S. Air Force and was a faithful member of Rogers Memorial BaptistChurch.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Frank Battle; Mother Carrie Battle; several sisters and brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories; devoted niece Belinda Moore and nephew Leon(Kim) Flowers; devoted cousins; Shelia Harris, Fredia Craig and Janice Ellis, many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the RogersMemorial BaptistChurch with Rev A.D. Baxter officiating.
The final resting place will take place at the East TN Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) at 12:30 p.m. immediately following the service. Full military honors and dove release will conclude in his honor.

I met Mr Jimmy, though CAC Senior Program to assist my Brother while I work. My brother had a Stroke, he needed help and the Lord sent a Angel. I thank God for Mr Jimmy Battle.
