Obituary For James Rufus Bush

James Rufus Bush (JB) age 55, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024; in Nashville, TN surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 16, 1968; in Knoxville, Tn was the son of Annie “Edie” Lowe Blevins and Derond “Ronnie” Bush.

James is preceded in death by his sister, Tina Louise Lowe; grandmother, Frances Berry Joiner; aunts, Mary Frances (Cunningham) Blevins, Dorothy “Jean” Lowe, Patricia “Tish” Lowe; uncle, George E. Lowe, and cousin, Anthony “Tony” Lowe. Survived by his mother, Annie "Edie" Lowe Blevins and father, Derond "Ronnie" Bush; aunts, Christine Lowe, Ruth Phelps Houston, and Wanda Booker; a host of cousins, family, & friends.

There will be no funeral service but a celebration of life with a gathering of family will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024; 6pm at 1304 Maryland Ave; Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests flowers be sent to Unity Mortuary.
