Jason Jerwayne Lakes, of Knoxville, TN born February 25, 1981 in Atlanta, GA to Willie James Lakes Sr & Dolly Faye Lakes passed away Friday, August 6, 2025 at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center.
Jason was known for his tongue twisting passion of music, charming personality, & delightful smile. He was preceded in death by his mother: Dolly Faye Lakes, brothers: Willie J Lakes Jr, Derrick Ross, grandmothers: Annie Rene Lakes, Jessica Corrine Martin, sister: Cherry Greer, several aunts, uncles, & cousins. He is survived by his father, Willie James (Deborah-deceased) Lakes Sr., sisters: Keisha Cato, Dandris Lakes, brothers: Gilleam Jacque Lakes (Zilphia), Willie James (Pedie) Grier, Charles (Chad) Davis, Trey Logan: nieces & nephews, Juleke, Jakya, Asia, James, Jicerra, Domonique, Semaj, Jayceon, Adaisha, Adarius, Aaliyah, Andre, Angel, Kash, Eli. Aunts: Sarah (Melvin-Deceased) Jones, Annie dora, (Ridley) Laye, Patricia (William) Johnson, Wanda Hines: Uncles Charles Harris, Gerald (Wilhemina) Davis, Vic (Gwen) Lakes. He will be remembered by a host of family and friends too numerous to mention & Special Friend Of Life: Kristi Lightfoot.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 12:30 - 1:00 with homegoing celebration to follow at 1:00PM, Unity Mortuary Chapel. The final resting place will immediately follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
