Lawrence Love, Jr.
Lawrence Love Jr. was born on November 21, 1950, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Lawrence and Lula โBullardโ Love, Sr. He graduated from Knoxville College in 1974. He worked for Oak Ridge Laboratory.
Lawrence departed this life on December 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents; great-aunt, Wilma Love [of Santa Monica, CA]; brothers: Thomas Love [of Long Beach, CA] and William Love [of Knoxville].
He leaves his cherished memories to his longtime companion and friend, Rebecca Burris; son, Lawrence Love III; daughter, Juvenia Bailey (James Sr.) Mathis; four grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of relatives and friends to include Ernest and Katherine Mcduffy, Morine Hudgens, the Bailey family, and so many others too vast to mention.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 11-11:30 with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.

It has been a difficult time since hearing of June's passing. A life long family friend.
