Mary Ruth Wynn Reed
Passed peacefully at Oakwood Assistant Living on February 8, 2025. Mary was a retired employee of Levi Strass and a lifetime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. President of the Austin High Class of 1957 and President of Rollett’s Association. Preceded in death by husband James Reed, Child Darren Allen; parents Alexander Wynn, Sr. Essie L. Wynn; brothers Eddie, William Sr., Alexander, Jr., Robert, Sr., Raliegh, Sr.; sisters Sarah Wynn and Essie Smith. Survivors are her loving Caregiver and Neice; Brenda Anderson, other devoted nieces Diane Smith and Elizabeth Johnson and great niece Shauna Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Special friend Dora Bowen, and the Tabernacle Church family.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2137 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Vincent Jones, Jr. officiating.
The final resting place will be held at the New Grey Cemetery immediately following the service.

I miss her so much, we were like sisters. She always there for me and I was for her. Her family comforted me when I lost love ones and camd to Ga. When ilost my mother. I am heart broken that i can't make it up but you are in my heart and prayers. Rest in Heven my Sister until we meet again. ❤️

Just wanted to say Ms Reed was a wonderful and beautiful LADY!! We met her when Katrina Caldwell dated her son Darin.THE REEDS WERE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!! " Trina(" Katrina stuck right with Mr & Mrs Reed - They LOVED HER ! We all had great times together especially Trina till the day she was there when she died!! She will be sadly missed- WE LOVED HER TOO! No more suffering!! Prayers for the family and for you Trina you was a daughter to her as she often said you travelled from Morristown and did not Atlanta stop you from seeing her and precious meals and laughter!!GOOD MEMORIES TO CHERISH 💓🙏🏾
