Obituary For Mike Anthony Sherles

Michael Anthony Sherles was born on November 20, 1966, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to Robert Sr. and Audrey Sherles. He grew up in Lafollette and Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and lived throughout East Tennessee.

At a young age, Michael accepted Jesus as his Savior and became a member of Little Leaf Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted father to his kids. His favorite times were watching his children and grandchildren play football.

Michael peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior early Monday morning, August 19, 2024, at the age of 57. He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Robert Sherles, Sr., and his beloved daughter Chandra Sherles.

His is survived by his three sons: Michael Desean Sherles (Knoxville), Nicholas Frazier (Knoxville), and Cory Frazier (Antioch); one daughter: Kendra Wolfe (Lancaster, PA); three brothers: Quentin Newell (Nashville), Bobby Davis (Morristown), and Robert Sherles, Jr. (Knoxville); three sisters: Ronya Newell (Nashville), Kimberly Sherles (Dunedin, FL), and Sherri Summerour (Oak Ridge); nine grandchildren; nephews and nieces; and a host of uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2-3:30 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
