Patsy Aline Hardin

Knoxville - Patsy Aline Hardin, 78 of Knoxville, TN, peacefully passed away on March 19th, 2022 at her home. Born April 20, 1943 to the late Lon Hardin and Juanita Kyle. She was a loving mother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend. She was a faithful member of Overcoming Believers Church, where she served on the HELPS ministry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Lonnie Hardin and brother Brandon Hardin.

She is survived by her children, Kelvin (Kellie) Hardin, Gina (James) Hobson, Karen Hardin, Anthony (Tasha) Hardin, sisters Ruby (Frank) Dotson, Alma Hardin, Cheryl Hardin, and Belinda Hardin; brothers Van Hardin, Leonard Hardin, Danny Hardin and Alvin Hardin; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Overcomers Believers Church with Pastor Daryl Arnold officiating.

The final resting place will immediately follow at the New Grey Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude in her honor.

Ms. Hardin will lie in state on Friday, March 25, 2022 on Unity Mortuary Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Patsy, Vivian Littlejohn, and the Chandler girls were very good friends when we were little girls living in College Homes Projects! Patsy was always kind and a joy to be around! The Roper family lived next door to us, their grandmother, the matriarch in the family was in charge of the family and a delight to know. RIP my friend we will see each other again🙏🏼🙏🏼
