23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. My deepest sympathy and may the Peace of GOD that surpasses all understanding bring comfort to all now and forever. Continual prayers in the days, months, and years to come.

To the entire Family, Uncle Dickie, as my daughter affectionately called him was truly a special man. His knowledge and understanding of the Word of God was truly exceptional. He could talk about it for hours. His presence will be missed but I know he's enjoying his new home. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God continue to comfort all of us as we adjust to life on earth without him. Minister Tabace Burns, Brandee Phillips Summey & Family

Adrian, Sissy, and Manay, I was heartbroken to hear of the transition of Richard, always Dickie to his hometown. I will never forget the last time that I saw Dickie and the family during the reunion at Liberty Baptist Church. He was so happy to bring his family home for a visit. Please know that I am in prayer for the family.
