Rickey Allen Davis, Sr.
Rickey Allen Davis Sr. was born April 29, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Lena Mae Davis, and the late James ”Jimmy” Avery White Jr. Rickey left his earthly home to join his Heavenly Father on September 22, 2025. He was a longtime member of Universal Church of Deliverance where he gave his life to Christ. Rickey loved to spend time with his family and was always the life of any party. He was a genuine person with a heart of gold, who was just a joy to be around. While attending Vine Middle School in 1982 Rickey met his soulmate, Latitia Benson. On August 28, 2008, they exchanged marital vows. Rickey loved his children and grandchildren very deeply and had a special bond with each one.
Rickey leaves to cherish his memory: mother: Lena Davis; devoted wife Latitia Davis, daughter: Lavieka Benson, sons: Montay Davis of Atlanta, GA, and Rickey Davis Jr. ,brothers: Elder Deadrick (Kemerly) White, James White, Roderick White, and Frank Riley; sisters: Yvette Davis, Karen Hardin, Angela White, Kimera White, and Lisa Ghosten (Vennis) Macon; grandchildren: DaMaya, Rikealyn, JaiQueze, Jamiracle, Tamia, Isaiah, and Jameerial. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to many to name including devoted cousins Tony, Paul, Von, Felicia.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12-1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
