Robert L. Gates went home to be with the Lord July 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Dock Gates Sr, Fannie Gates. He leaves behind his wife Ann Gates, Children: Renea Thornton, Effie Gates, Sandra Love, Teresa Brooks, Ronnie Martin; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1-2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Eugene Carter officiating.
