Umeko Mingyon Wells, 42, passed away on
12/23/2023 from complications with pneumonia
at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville,
TN.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda D.Wells, Sister Uquonda Z. Wells, Niece
Zah’Kiesha Malone and Brother Princeton Mauricio Wells.
She is survived by her Father, Inmon Wells, Jr,
her loyal Dashound of 17 years, Reese Cup Wells,
Older sisters, Suzon and Jacobe Bailey, Sharmela
and Ousman Wells-Sanneh, and younger half
brother Dj Wells.
She was auntie to Bra’quoya Davis, Ysytisa
Malone, Princeton ‘Ikee’ Wells, Preston Wells,
Ciara Wells, Alexis Wells, Jazmine M’wamba, Princeton ‘Romey’ Wells, Shania Wells and
Ja’quay’yah Wells. Great Auntie to Neyahvaiye
Mack and countless more.
A warm mention to her spiritual family of Jehovah’s Witnesses and to her Comcast family where she worked for over 7 years.
The Viewing and the Receiving of Family and
friends will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024
from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at
2:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
