Obituary For Vickie Ann McCoy-Martin

Vickie Ann McCoy Martin, age 60 of Knoxville, TN went home to the heavenly father on June 23rd, 2026, with her family by her side.

Vickie was known for her affectionate smile and personality; she smiled even when she didn’t feel up to it. She didn’t let a day go by without letting her family know just how much she loved them. She worked many years in childcare until her health began to decline.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents William & Helen McCoy, Sisters: Olivia (Libby) Stewart, Minnie McCoy & Julia and her brother: Frances (Frank) McCoy, Nieces: Carolyn and Sherry Stewart, Great Nephews: Travis Stewart and Troy Cullom.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving sons: William McCoy (Enjoli), Akeem Penson (Marissa), James McCoy Jr. & her daughter: Rakeena Fagan. Sisters: Joann Moore, Evelyn McCoy. Brothers: William (Judy) McCoy, Arthur (Tammie) Foster, Joseph (Kim) McCoy. 27 Grand-Children and 4 Great Grand Children. A host of nieces, nephews and friends too numerous too name. Special niece: Celeste Hayes. Special Friends: Carolyn Williams, Michael North, Kathy Hill, Robin Blair, Felicia Lyons, Terri North, Phyllis Washington and Dorothy Hoskins, as well as the Lonsdale Community.

There will be a Celebration on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the New Friendship Baptist Church at 12:00 noon where Pastor Joesph Smith will be officiating.
