KNOXVILLE - William Noil Lattimore, age 97, of Knoxville Tennessee went to be home with the Lord Sunday, June 4, 2023. William was born July 24, 1925, in Abbeville, South Carolina, to the union of Ezekial and Lucinda Calhoun Lattimore, he grew up in “Muck Town” Knoxville, TN. He proudly served in the US Navy as Seaman First Class and later pursued a career at AT&T 1949-1989, where he retired after 40 years of hard work and dedication.
After retiring, William enjoyed fishing, hunting, sailing the seas, playing slot machines, and spending time with family & friends. He was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church and served as Trustee for many years. William fought a good fight, he finished his course, and completed his journey to win the eternal jackpot.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ezekial & Lucinda Lattimore; spouse, Eloise Lattimore; siblings, Howard (Katreen) Lattimore, James Robert Lattimore, John Gator (Mattie) Lattimore, Lois (Joe) Goodman, Melissa (Herman) Dave; stepson, Walt Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Steve (Lisa) Lattimore, William (Angie) Lattimore; stepdaughters, Minnie (John) Goss & Loretta Johnson; sister-in-law, Mattie Lattimore; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; devoted nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive, friends, 10:00-11:00am, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Unity Mortuary, funeral service, 11:00am, Pastor Melvin Wright, Officiating.
The final resting place will be held at the Knoxville National Cemetery on Tyson St immediately following the service. A dove release will conclude in his honor.
Mr. Lattiomore will lie in state on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 1-5:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
