Yvette Henry
Yvette Henry was born on August 1, 1959, to Charles W. and Dolores B. Callier. She was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church. She loved to cook, go fishing, bowling, hang with family and friends, playing cards and board games. She worked at Panera Bread. She was a foundation to many lives.
Yvette departed this life on October 6, 2025, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dolores B. and Charles W. Callier; her grandson: Nehemiah Dickey; and mother-in-law, Joann Watkins.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Arthur Henry; sons: Bradley and Brian (Athena) Dickey; daughter, Shavonda (Anthony) Ligon; sisters: Elizabeth Lynch Mowden, Charlene (Charles) Lewis, Natasha Collier, and Geraldine Lynch (Priscilla Gaines); brother-in-law, Allen (Latonya) Henry; uncle, Alvin Lynch; goddaughter, Lasharra Ryans; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 3-4:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 4:00 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2101 Ault Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914 where Pastor Joseph Tolbert will be officiating.
The final resting place will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery on Monday, October 13, 2025 at noon. A dove release will conclude in her honor.
