Bro Hardy was my Patron in Wright Choice Chapter #696 of Eastern Star. He was a great leader and loved EVERYTHING Masonic & OES related. He gave himself fully to us and proudly lead us until his passing. Thank you fior sharing him with us. He will truly be missed. Kim Morrissette

I am sad to hear about lost of your kind hearted father Decon Hardy just like I was sad to hear about the lost of your wonderful beautiful mother. Our family's grow up together on Jackson Ave and Daily bottom. Your parents went to school with my sisters. When ever my sister would come visit from California. She always went to see Matthew and Minnie every time she visited. Our Family want you to know that we love you and that your parents are in a better place and not still here on this hell place call earth. Your parents is what the southerners call "SOME MIGHTY FINE FOLKS" and will always be in our heart! God want put know more on you than you can bare! We love u guys!

Brother Matthew Hardy, Jr. was a great man. Since 1999 he served the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Alabama as Junior Grand Warden. He was a man who led by example and always was willing to render words of kindness and brotherly love. This world would be a much better place if it were filled with Matthew Hardy's. To The Hardy Family, we were saddened to here of the passing of Matthew. It came as a shock so soon after the passing of his beloved wife Minnie. I hearts were still sad from loosing her. It is a comfort to know that they are together with the Lord, and singing his praises. He was a great Father, Brother. Uncle, Cousin and Friend. He will always be remembered and loved.
