Obituary For Mr. Robert E. Glasper
Van Hoose & Steele Funeral Home, Inc. announces the transition of Mr. Robert E. Glasper formerly of Tuscaloosa, AL. A resident of Plano, Texas, Mr. Glasper, known as “Punkin,” passed May 15, in Plano Texas.
Mr. Glasper was a member of the Druid "Dragons" High School class of 1969. He also was a successful Barbershop entrepreneur in Plano, Tx., where he enjoyed his talent and the friendship with many friends.

Add A CondolenceOne winter day back in 2000 , I had the privilege , honor and fortune to have met Robert in Plano ,Texas. Robert was commencing the start of a business venture . We started a relationship that lasted until his sudden passing. I am stunned, shocked and saddened to learn of his passing by calling his pride and joy the End Zone .I loved this man like a brother and will miss him so much . Robert possessed character, love . Obsequiousness and the uncanny ability to be benevolent with such passion and fervor. If you didn't know Robert Earl Glasper , he was a man after God.s heart ! I love you Robert and will pray for your soul .
I will miss calling the shop talking to Robert sharing laughter and joy. We go back so long ago and even further into the future for great moments lead to comfort in this gift of life I live when least expected. Really love to send him pictures to bring out his smile that will be forevermore also his last words calling me ( MY Brother) I responded with gratitude and love. Now I give thanks to my CREATOR for bringing Robert into my life sharing so much Joy. To the family the spirit of Robert is at peace shining all around us like a star from Heaven. Larry D.
