Aunt Lillian was a part of my life as long as I can remember. She gave me my first job. Babysitting Kenneth, Mina, Freddy and Jon Jon( my heart). Hey it is a serious hole in my life right now. But I will always remember what my mom told me. She said" Ann you got to learn to live with the pain". That's what I go by. Ann

My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Blackburn Family. Mrs. Lillian was a caring and thoughtful neighbor to my Aunt & Uncle, the Burroughs, for many years. For 40-plus years she did my parent's tax return. She was a beautiful woman who carried the light of Christ with her every place she went.

I am a friend of the Avery family from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I met Lillian Blackburn on a visit to Tuscaloosa years ago to visit the Avery family. While there Lillian came over to visit. To this day I still remember how much fun she was, and the laughter we had was contagious. She will be missed, but my memory remains. I give to the family my utmost condolences and deepest sympathy. May her shining light glow over your memories and family. She shined on me. God bless your family. Sandra Thurman
