Mr. Ben Thomas of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, September 24, 2021 at his residence.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Charles Flowers (pastor), Reverend Jerome Tanner, Reverend Doctor Henry Forward, Reverend Douglas Jones, Minister Hardy Hill, III, and the Reverend Jessica Muse officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
A walk-through, public viewing will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines will be followed for social distancing and the wearing of masks for the safety and health of the family and the public for the viewing and service.

Five Sisters: Lurene Easterly of Jacksonville, Florida; Betty Speights of Marianna, Florida; Brenda Spears (Josh) of Florence, South Carolina; Earnestine Ross of Columbia, South Carolina, and Drucilla Thomas of Dublin, Georgia
Two Brothers: Leeroy Thomas, Jr. (Lisa) of Columbia, South Carolina; and Jerome Thomas of Marianna, Florida
Eight Grandchildren: Jada Thomas, Xaria Hope, Zephaniah Thomas, Bentrell Thomas, Jr., (Joel Denson) Faith Thomson, Ariel Graham, Serenity Watson
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many loving friends.
Too the family of Ben,Everytime we saw each either Ben had a smile and something positive to say,always had his head up high,and that smile I will miss,stay strong.
