Obituary For Dora Russ

Ms. Dora Russ, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Courtyard at the Millpond, in Marianna, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM CST from the sanctuary of Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 3100 Lovewood Road in Cottondale, Florida 32431 with Pastor Carl Hill, officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Ms. Russ will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Sons: Ricardo (Sonja) Russ of Atlanta, Georgia and Eduardo Russ of Tampa, Florida

Special Friends: Silvia Carr and Emma Gilbert both of Marianna, Florida

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Dora was a sweet and quiet being. She was a oersin who never caused any waves and she was my high school classmate. Iam deeply saddened by her passing but am relievec that she no longer have to suffer. Her body is now healed and she no longer have to suffer any pain. She is asleep and no longer has any worries. Dora, You were my oldest friend (43 plus years). We started our friendship in St. Petersburg and it lasted until you transitioned to your heavenly home.
