Mrs. Doris Elaine Bellamy, of Chipley, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Southeast Health, in Dothan, Alabama.
Mrs. Bellamy was a member of the Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, from the sanctuary of Henshaw Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2730 Glastel Street in Cottondale, Florida, where the Reverend Freddie Tellis is the pastor with the Reverend Tony Davis, officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery located at 3100 Lovewood Road in Cottondale, Florida.
Mrs. Bellamy will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Three Sons: Herman (Latasha) Bellamy of Marianna, Florida; Fredrick (Lynette) Bellamy of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Jeremy (MK) Bellamy of Colorado
Six Grandchildren: Marcena Bellamy and Namerius Davison both of Marianna, Florida; Mia Bellamy, Frederick Bellamy Jr., and Bryan Banega all of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Nova Bellamy of Colorado
One Brother: Bobby Brigham
One Brother-in-law: Robert Bellamy of Cottondale, Florida
Four Sisters-in-law: Vernell Smith and Vila Mae Bellamy both of Cottondale, Florida; Arleado Bellamy of Irvington, New Jersey and Ruby (Gerald) Thomas of Hop, New Jersey
One Great Aunt: Emma Russell of Dade City, Florida
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Doris and I laughed and giggled thur grade school, high School and Jr college she always had a smile and a giggle to offer the world . During jr college she fell in love with Herman our path slowly moved in different directions.But when our path crossed it was always as if time stood still and we would laugh and giggle over life. To her amazing Son and family may God extend to you strength to endure his will. Always remember you were blessed with a sweet and caring Mother!!
