Mrs. Ernestine Bowers, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Jackson Hospital, in Marianna, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located at 3996 Wintergreen Road in Greenwood, Florida 32443 where the Reverend Kevin Williams is the pastor.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bowers will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Two Daughters: Barbara Leslie of Greenwood, Florida and Demetria Franklin of Tallahassee, Florida
One Son: Eugene (Sharon) Bowers of Greenwood, Florida
One Brother: Reverend Lucious Williams, Sr. of Greenwood, Florida
One Sister: Florida Mae McCoy Manning of Greenwood, Florida
And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
