Mr. James Balcom, Jr., of Daleville, Alabama, formerly of Sneads, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.

Graveside Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the cemetery of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 5382 Old US Road in Malone, Florida with Pastor Mark Dudley, officiating.

Mr. Balcom will lie in repose at the cemetery from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.

There is no public viewing.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

One Daughter: Andrea (Keith) Arts of Panama City, Florida

Grandchildren: De’Andra Dozier and Teala Dozier both of Enterprise, Alabama; Darryl Dozier, Jr. of Panama City, Florida and Tykeanna Pierson of Birmingham, Alabama

Great Grandchildren: Dezimere Warren, DeMajai Bass, Demyis Gibson, Taliyah Avery, MArceese Dozier, TaMario Edwards, Jr., Keardae Fails, and Kior Evans

Three Sisters: Irene (Vanester) Pope of Cottondale, Florida; Katherine (Jeremiah) Pollocks and Annie Balcom both of Greenwood, Florida

Two Brothers: Richard Balcom of Tallahassee, Florida and Sammie Balcom of Greenwood, Florida

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
