Mr. JB Borders, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Marianna, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, May 22, 2026, at his residence.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:30 AM from the sanctuary of Jerusalem AME Church located at 2055 Hwy 73 South in Marianna, Florida with the Reverend DeRon Johnson, officiating.

Interment will be in the church in Marianna, Florida.

Mr. Borders will lie in repose at the church from 10:30 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 5, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Wife: Kathy Hall of Tampa, Florida

Mother: Pellie Mae (Freddie) Wilson of Marianna, Florida

Two Sons: Jacorian Borders of Marianna, Florida and Keyman Borders of Tallahassee, Florida

Three Daughters: Krystal Johnson of Columbus, Georgia; Raiven Borders and Ciera Collins both of Marianna, Florida

One Sister: L. Nicole McNealy of Newnan, Georgia

Three Brothers: Jeffrey Borders of Marianna, Florida; Dexter (Sharon) Borders and Rossanno Borders both of Tampa, Florida

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
