Obituary For Johnny Lee Speights

Mr. Johnny Speights, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at HCA Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Mr. Speights was a member of the Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marianna, Florida. Mr. Speight was the founder of the Sunday morning Spiritual Echo’s radio program.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

One Son: Eric Speights of Raleigh, North Carolina

One Daughter: Felicia Speights of Marianna, Florida

One Grandson: Jarrad Lewis of Marianna, Florida

One Granddaughter: Randi Michelle Douglas of Tuscon, Arizona

Two Sisters: Lucy (Lambert, II) Hawthorne of Mariana, Florida and Beverly Randolph of Tampa, Florida

Five Sisters-in-law: Ella Mitchell of Palm Meadows, Florida; Hattie Lester of Jacksonville, Florida; Mary Langston of Tallahassee, Florida; Diane Collins of California; and Doris Collins of Jacksonville, Florida

Eight godsons; Two goddaughters

And a host of god grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
