I worked with Mr. Johnny at Sunland for many many years. Knew him at the IGA and who hasn`t heard his radio program on Sunday morns. My father loved his show and how he seemed to make everything warm and personal. His voice was so recognizable and the radio business lost a legend. Johnny was a tireless person, the epitome of honesty, hard work, God fearing, trustworthy and the list goes on. His son Eric and I were classmates 1979 MHS. I am a better man just from knowing Johnny Speights. Rest now my friend, Russell Register.
