Ms. Latonia Powe, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Jackson Hospital, in Marianna, Florida.
To know her was to love her.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church located at 2871 Orange Street in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend Travis Ephriam is the pastor.
Interment will be in Grabriel Cemetery located in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Ms. Powe will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Daughters: Ashanti Brown and Khaliah Brown both of Marianna, Florida
Life Companion: James Brown of Marianna, Florida
Five Bonus Children: James Brown, Jr. and Thomasina Brown both of Miami, Florida; Jarrod (Nikki) Brown of Dothan, Alabama; Chad (Utriskell) Brown of Marianna, Florida and Sidney Brown of Atlanta, Georgia
Father: Edgar Powe, Jr. of Moss Point, Mississippi
Two Brothers: Joseph Powe of Mobile, Alabama and Jerome Powe of Birmingham, Alabama
Two Sisters: Kelia Howard of Mobile, Alabama and Asha Powe of Moss Point, Mississippi
And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
