Obituary For Linda Porter
Mrs. Linda Porter, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her residence.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church located at 4895 River Road in Bascom, Florida with Minister Michael L. Jones, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Porter will lie in repose at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Two Daughters: Adrienne Johnson and Brandy Johnson
Two Grandchildren: Edward Henderson and Nevaeh Johnson
Sixteen Siblings: Ophelia Horne, Callie Horne, David Horne, Jr., George Cobb, Geraldine Cobb, David Cobb, Wilbur Porter, Horace Horne, Dianne Porter, Anthony Porter, London Cobb, Christina Horne, Charles, Johnnie, Verna, and Julia Porter
Special Cousins and Friends: Tonya Kelly, Denise Horne Sylvester, Rebecca Dobbins, and Taurus Williams
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Mrs. Porter was in dialysis and I didn't get to meet her until her daughters needed me and I got to their house and do some notarzing for them and I got to pray over their mom which was a blessing for me to be able to do this. Your in a good place with God.
