Mrs. Mary Lawson, of the Little Zion Community in Sneads, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, March 23, 2026, at her residence.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 3100 Little Zion Road in Sneads, Florida, where the Pastor Eddie Bowers, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lawson will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Six Children: Edward C. Lawson (Cynthia) of Hampton, Virginia; Samuel Lawson of Melbourne, Florida; Brenda Lawson and Shirley Commodore both of Sneads, Florida; David E. Lawson (Sharon) of Moultrie, Georgia and Kevin R. Lawson, Sr. (Valtina) of Marianna, Florida
Daughter-in-law: Patty Lawson of Sneads, Florida
Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
