Mrs. Melissa Durant Bryant of Marianna, Florida transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in Jackson Hospital.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of the New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 2870 Barnes Street in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend G.E. Gathers is the pastor with Minister Hardy Hill, III, Minister James Rhynes, and Reverend Charlie Martin officiating.
Mrs. Bryant will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service. Interment will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, Florida.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be enforced and followed regarding social distancing and masks for the safety of those who attend the viewing and service.
She leaves to celebrate her legacy of love a devoted family:
One Daughter: Clarissa Montgomery of Marianna, Florida
Five Sons: Jimmy Bryant of Fort Myers, Florida who preceded her in death; Clarence Bryant and Michael Bryant both of Marianna, Florida; Deandre Bryant and Troy Bryant both of Graceville, Florida
Five Godchildren: Malika Wynn, Lemorris Camel, Mispha Washington, RyJuan Awak, and Barklee Rich
Nine Grandchildren: Tionna Means, Clamaris Bryant, Kensley Bryant, Zyon Barwick, Madisyn Curry, Deandre Bryant, Kingston Bryant, and Naveah Bryant
And numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
