Obituary For Minister Hardy Hill, III

Minister Hardy “Knotte-Knotte” Hill, III, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Sneads, Florida.

Minister Hill was a member of the New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Rivertown Community Church located at 4534 Lafayette Street in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Paul Smith is the pastor with the Reverend Gregory Gathers, officiating.

Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery located at 2135 Fairview Road in Marianna, Florida.

Minister Hill will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, May 5, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Wife: Lucretia M. Hill of Marianna, Florida

Four Daughters: Vanity Corbitt (Briana Davis) and Zaboria Hill both of Dothan, Alabama; Tasheuna Hill of Atlanta, Georgia and Jamecia Gray of Orlando, Florida

Three Sons: Laderious Pittman of Marianna, Florida; Javon Hill and Chaise Hill both of Dothan, Alabama

One Brother: James H. Black Jr. of Marianna, Florida

Seven Sisters: Jamicena (Jimmy) Stewart of Leesburg, Florida; Verna (Billie, Sr.) Mack and Pquetta Dena both of Tallahassee, Florida; Rosalind (Terrance) Pete, Jasma Black and Charrisse (DeCarlise) Hill all of Marianna, Florida and Shalane Hill of Columbus, Georgia

Ten Grandchildren

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and an abundance of dear friends.

My God I am very shock today hearing of knott knotts death didn't know he had passed. My condolences goes out to his wife god continue to cover her, and protect her in Jesus name. Last time I spoke with him he prayed for me. I'm sorry to hear of this today. 9/10/2024.
