Ms. Norma Walker, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, December 22, 2025, at her residence.
Homegoing celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of Second West Missionary Baptist Association Church located at 4110 Herring Avenue in Marianna, Florida where Dr. Dwight Cockerham, is the moderator with Dr. Sam Everett, officiating.
Interment will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, Florida.
Ms. Walker will lie in repose at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Three Daughters: Sharneisa Speights and Sharmeka Speights both of Marianna, Florida, and Sharneatra (Tracy) Lopez of Tallahassee, Florida
Two Beloved Grandsons: JaQuavius (Makayla) Smith of Honolulu, Hawaii, and JaShon Heatrice of Marianna, Florida
Two Brothers: Maurice Speights, Sr. of Marianna, Florida, and Al Spires of San Francisco, California
Three Sisters: Dollean Perkins of Alachua, Florida; Bertha Walker and Ann Gooden both of Marianna, Florida
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Such a sweet person, my grandma Sandra's closest friend. When I was sick she checked on me constantly and asked about me even though she was feeling much more pain than me. That describes the kind of person she was. You will be dearly missed π!
