Mrs. Oree Bruton, of Sneads, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at home in Sneads, Florida, with her family by her side.

Homegoing Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 12:00 Noon from the sanctuary of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 3100 Little Zion Road in Sneads, Florida, with Pastor Eddie Bowerrs, officiating.

Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bruton will lie in repose at the church from 11:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on
Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sneads, Florida.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Daughters: Patty Bruton-Joseph and Tangelia (Mitchell) Stephens both of Miami, Florida

One Brother: Tom (Emma) Koonce of Sneads, Florida

Three Sisters: Ida Smith of Denver, Colorado; Rebecca Miller of Bonifay, Florida and Josephine Heatrice of Dacula, Georgia

And a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
