Obituary For Paul Spates
Mr. Paul Spates, of Bascom, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church located at 4895 River Road in Bascom, Florida where the Reverend Leroy Hall is the pastor with the Reverend Leroy McLeroy, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Spates will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 18, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
A Loving Wife: Rosa Mae Spates of Bascom, Florida
Two Sons: Stacey Spates and Reggie Spates both of Greenwood, Florida
One Daughter: Valerie Spates of Greenwood, Florida
Two Sisters: Plassie Rollins and Laura Turner both of Bascom, Florida
One Brother: Robert Spates, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia
Two Grandchildren: Marcus Spates and Jaden Spates
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
