Mr. William Hunter, of Woodlawn, Tennessee, formerly of Marianna, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1:00 P. M. from the sanctuary of Second West Baptist Association Church located at 4110 Herring Avenue in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend Dwight Cockerham, Sr. is the Moderator with the Reverend Kenneth Baker, officiating.
Interment will be in the Union Hill #1 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located at 3115 Union Hill Road in Marianna, Florida.
Mr. Hunter will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Three Daughters: Dr. Lan’Tejuana (Quentin) Cooper of Tallahassee, Florida; Tracy Hunter of Marietta, Georgia and Zulay (Ryan) Escobar-Walsh of Clarksville, Tennessee
Two Sons: William Hunter of Marianna, Florida and Elvis Perez of Cheyenne, Wyoming
Mother: Elizabeth Hunter Wooten of Marianna, Florida
Four Sisters: Mary Bascom of Chipley, Florida; Jean (Tommie) Blount, Monique Hunter and Sherrod Hunter all of Marianna, Florida
Four Brothers: Edward Hunter of Huntsville, Alabama; Jeffrey Wooten, Corneilus Hunter and Antonio Hunter all of Marianna, Florida
And a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
