Obituary For Robert E. "Pee Wee" Bell

Mr. Robert E. Bell, also known as Pee Wee, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Jackson Hospital, in Marianna, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located at 3096 Old US Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 with the Reverend Darryl Johnson Sr., officiating.

Interment will be in the church Cemetery.

Mr. Bell will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

In accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance, we ask that everyone wear a mask for the viewing and funeral service to protect the health and safety of all who will attend.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Six Daughters: Jeannette Ferrell of Miami, Florida; Angelia Bell (Leroy) Venisee and Marion Collins both of Marianna, Florida; Tammy (Clement) Collins of Columbia, Georgia; Gloria Bell of Miami, Florida and Tresha Mongtomery of Atlanta, GeorgiA

Five Sons: Mark Bell, Tyrone Speights, Breon Bell and Antwan Bowers all of Marianna, Florida and Edward Bell of Winter Garden, Florida;

Six Brothers: Jimmy (Betty) of Marianna, Florida; Melvin (Mary) of Columbia, South Carolina; Bernard (Stephanie) of Greenwood, Florida; Larry of Pensacola, Florida; Joe (Barbara) of Grand Ridge, Florida and James of New York

Five Sisters: Junita Leslie, Lois Bell, Margaret Bell and Jacqueline (Sonny) Milton all of Marianna, Florida and Irma (Victor) Simkins of Augusta, Georgia

Fourty-two Grandchildren

Fifty-four Great Grandchildren

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Uncle Pee-wee was a great man. One of my favorite memories I can think of is when I saw him carry a refrigerator on his back and I said that man is one of the strongest man in the world. I will miss him forever.....
