Mrs. Sonja E. Davis, age 59, natively of Marianna, Florida transitioned Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her residence in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia and was a graduate of Chipola Junior College in Marianna, FL.
The Homegoing Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11 AM from the sanctuary of God's D.A.R.E. International Worship Center located at 2949 New Hope Rd. Marianna, FL 32448 with Dr. Debra Davis (Pastor) and officiating.
Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Husband: Larry Davis
Daughter: Sondrea Davis
Three Grandchildren: Brendan Pratt; Ayden Pratt; and Savana Smith
Six Sisters/Cousins: Lolita Barnes, Della Watford, Cynthia Barnes, Nanette Barnes, Adriane Barnes, and Marisa Barnes
Two Sisters: Cassandra Smith and Martha Williams
One Brother: Lamar Smith
And numerous other family members.
Ms. Davis was raised by the best, Indiana Barnes
