The Reverend Lucious Williams, Sr., age 102, of the Two Egg Community of Greenwood, Florida, made his heavenly transition on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Reverend Williams was a pastor, clergyman, Bible scholar, farmer, and one that loved the Lord. To know him was to love him.
The Homegoing Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3996 Wintergreen Road, Greenwood, Florida 32443 where the Reverend Kevin Williams is the pastor.
Reverend Williams will lie in state at the church on the day of service from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
There will be a public viewing on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories his loving family:
His Children: Deacon Lucious, Jr. (Rose), Queen (the late Frank), Jimmie Lee (Patricia), and Elder Elizabeth (the late William) all of Greenwood, Florida; JoAnn (Minister Isaiah) of Marianna, Florida; and Dr. Louie (Sheron) of Louisville, Kentucky
His 23 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren
His Sister: Florida Mae McCoy
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
