Obituary For Wallace C. Rhyne
Mr. Wallace C. Rhyne, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Jerusalem African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2055 Hwy 73 South in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend Adrienne McClendon is the pastor with the Reverend DeRon Johnson, officiating.
Interment will be in the Jerusalem Church Cemetery in Marianna, Florida.
Mr. Rhyne will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Four Nephews: Samuel McNealy Jr. of Marianna, Florida, Vincent (Tselane) Jones and Torries Rhyne both of Jacob City, Florida and Authur Rhyne, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida
Devoted Great Nephew: Danteβ Davis
Devoted Cousin: Gail Jones
Special Friend: James L. Hazelton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Wallace will be missed at his church where he was a longtime member. To know him was to love him. He was such a pleasant person to be around and he loved his family and friends. When he came to church he always after benediction would walk around and talk to other members.
