Obituary For Yvetta Bess

Mrs. Yvetta Bess, of Bristol, Florida, formerly of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 16076 SE River Street in Blountstown, Florida.

Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery located at 326 13th Street in Blountstown, Florida.

Mrs. Bess will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM from the sanctuary of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 16076 SE River Street in Blountstown, Florida.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Sons: Howard Bess of Blountstown, Florida and Howie (Deidra) Bess of Bristol, Florida

Two Daughters: Sharon Bess and Laurietta (Minister Larry Sr.) Bush both of Marianna, Florida

Thirteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Six Great Grandchildren

And a host of brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
