Mr. Wilmer Roscoe Drake, 93, of Roanoke died Monday, June 3, 2019 in Sierra Vista, Az. Funeral services will be held at Canaan Baptist Church, Roanoke on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon. (CST) with Rev. Calvin Trammell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11: 00 a.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Mr. Drake is survived by his daughter: SFC (Ret) Reta M. Drake, Sierra Vista, AZ and his son: Frederick (Linda) Drake, East Point, GA; one brother: Benson (Corrine) Drake, Bessemer; one sister: Frances Drake, Roanoke; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
