It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Isaac “Wolfman” Smalls, aged 84, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves to cherish his memory four devoted daughters: Bertha Smalls, Cynthia Smalls, Patricia Smalls Middleton, and Letha Smalls Gordon; grandchildren Sharon and Shaniqua Green, Lionell and Shannell James, Louis Williams, and Lauren Gordon; Twelve Great grandchildren, and one beloved brother, William “Yank” Smalls (Barbara).
Isaac was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Blondell Murray Smalls; his son, Isaac Smalls III; his parents, Isaac “Boy” Smalls and Florence “Bertha” Singleton Smalls; his siblings Anna Lee Wilson Jenkins, Allen, Eugene, and Theodore Smalls; and his maternal grandparents Sampson and Mary Singleton.
Known affectionately as “Wolfman,” Isaac was a straight shooter with an honest heart and a strong work ethic. He took great pride in his career as an 18-wheeler owner-operator for over 50 years, earning the respect of all who worked alongside him.
His legacy of love, dedication, and integrity will live on through the family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
The relatives and friends of Mr. Isaac “Wolfman” Smalls, Jr. invite you to attend his Celebration of Life Service 12 Noon, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1139 Main Road, John's Island, SC. Interment: Churchyard Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025, 4pm until 8pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel.
