Obituary For James Freddie Pinckney
Mr. James Freddie Pinckney, of Johns Island SC, the loving husband of Rosa Jane Pinckney entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 25, 2018. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 11 am at Hebron Zion Presbyterian Church located at 2915 Bohicket Road, Johns Island. Interment will follow at Hebron Zion Church Cemetery located at 4058 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island SC 29455. The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 3 pm – 7 pm at the viewing at the Walker’s Mortuary located at 3407 Old Pond Road, Johns Island SC. Freddie, as he was known by many was born November 19, 1952 to the late Jacob Bellinger and Rena Pinckney and is the youngest of 11 children. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 46 years Rosa Pinckney. He is also survived by his three daughters, Carletta Mustafaa, Tumiko Rucker, and Samantha Brown. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren that will deeply miss him. Also left to mourn are his four sisters, Rosena Frasier, Earnestine Harris, Evelyn Brown, Georgina Miller and an Aunt, Mrs. Janie Smith. Mr. Pinckney also leaves behind six brother in-laws, six sister – in laws, two son in laws, a special family friend; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
