Obituary For Lillie Mae Smith

With sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lillie Mae Smith (79). She made her transition on Monday, February 21, 2021, at 11:56 pm. Predeceased by her husband James S. Smith, Sr., she is survived by all of her children: Kenneth Clement, Sr., Shelly Lemon, James Smith, Jr., Patricia Smith, and Stewart (Simplicia) Smith, Sr.; siblings: Dorothy Scott and John LaBoard; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Thelma Robinson and many other extended relatives and friends. Viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, February 26, from 3 - 7 pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel, located at 3407 Old Pond Rd. A graveside celebration of Lillie Mae's life will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 12 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2718 River Rd. Facial coverings and social distancing are required!
