Obituary For McFadden Cokeley, Jr.

Cokeley– McFadden Cokeley Jr., was born to Pastor Joanna W. Burrows and the late McFadden Cokeley, Sr., Fort Benning, GA .

He attended Baker High School and Jordan High School in Columbus, GA and graduated from Burke High School, 1976 in Charleston, SC. He attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA, and late received his Associates of Science Degree of Electronics in Charleston, SC.

He enjoyed playing Jazz music with his trumpet and he enjoyed Gardening. He was a dedicated member of Mount Carmel UMC.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Carrie Cokeley of Charleston, SC, His mother, Pastor Joanna W. Burrows, Columbus, GA; Two Sisters: Angela Cokeley Robinson, Alice P. Lokey (James Bray) of Phenix City, AL.,; his brother, Anthony L. Cokeley (Mollie) of Columbus, GA, and Uncle, Christopher Chisholm, N. Charleston, SC., are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service, 11 AM, Friday, May 4, 2018, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 95 Cooper St., Charleston, SC. Interment: Dorchester Cemetery, Harleyville, SC. NO WAKE. Visitation for Mr. Cokeley will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Chapel from 3PM to 7PM.
