Obituary For Mr. Herman Murray
Mr. Herman Murray, 76 of Johns Island, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his devoted and selfless wife of 52 years Lucille J. Murray; his six children Margie Brown and Shelia Wright (Sam), Joseph Murray (Betty), Alice Murray, Donsha Jones, Henrietta Rivers, and his beloved god daughter Cynthia Smalls; three sisters, Martha Murray, Marie Murray, and Blondell Smalls (Isaac); three brothers, Thomas Murray (Mattie) , Willis Murray (Catherine), and Isaiah Murray (Bernice); 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Wake Service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at Bethlehem-St James United Methodist Church, 1139 Main Road, Johns Island, SC from 6 PM to 8 PM with family hour being from 7 PM to 8 PM. Mr. Murray Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018, 12 Noon, at Bethlehem-St James United Methodist Church, 1139 Main Road, Johns Island, SC. Interment: Church Cemetery. Mr. Murray will lie in state from 11 AM until the hour of service.
