Obituary For Mr. Terry Douglas Henson, Sr.
Mr. Terry Henson passed on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his home in Fort Lawn, South Carolina.
A Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Mitford Baptist Church with Reverend Marty Roberts officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM at the church on the day of the service. Interment will be private.
Mr. Henson was born on May 3, 1971, in Chester, South Carolina and was the son of the late Mrs. Brenda Lou Williams Henson and the late Mr. Leonard “Tee” Ervin Henson. He was preceded in death by aa brother, Donald “Donnie” E. Henson of Great Falls, South Carolina.
Terry was formerly employed with the Town of Great Falls as the Wastewater and Sanitation Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Henson of Fort Lawn, South Carolina, a daughter, Brandi Henson of Great Falls, South Carolina; his sons, Terry “TJ” Douglas Henson, Jr, of Sharon, South Carolina, Brandon Edward Henson of Fort Lawn, South Carolina; two brothers, Billy G. Henson (Cecilia) of Great Falls, South Carolina, Marty E. Henson (Amanda) of Canon City, CO.; a granddaughter, Alexis M. Lipford of Great Falls, South Carolina.
The Family is receiving friends at the home.
Arrangements are entrusted to Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls, SC.

Prayers for the family. May God give you strength to comfort you during this difficult time. Terry and I were in the same class in school. He always was kind.
Although I did not know Terry, his mother was one of my best friends growing up. My heart feels pain in this loss, Brenda, loved all her children and grandchildren with all her heart. In fact, we were distant cousins by way of Myrtle Baker Williams, Terry's grandmother. The family is in my prayers.
It was heart broken 2 hear about Terry. I remember him at family gatherings. Brandi,MaryBeth my heart goes out 2 u and all the family and friends.May God comfort u all. God has another special angel 😇. Love ❤️ u all.
I was shocked to hear of Terry's passing. Although I haven't seen him in years, I had no idea he was so sick. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
