Obituary For Mr. Tramel "Trap" Richardson
Mr. Tramel βTrapβ Richardson passed on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Prisma Health Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a son of Mr. Stanley McCain and the late Ms. Hede Jo Richardson, He was born February 12, 1973.
A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held 3 PM Sunday, September 20, 2026 at First Mount Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls, South Carolina. Reverend Demarcus Thompson, pastor; Minister Gracene Manning Hayden officiating.
The Great Falls High School Class of 1991 will serve as Pall Bearers and Floral Bearers.
Tramel was a 1991 graduate of Great Falls High School in Great Falls, South Carolina where he was a member of the basketball team. He loved playing basketball, cooking and spending quality time with his family and friends. He had a smile and personality that would lighten a day.
Of all of his achievements, his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a father to his teenage son, Carter Tramel. He was deeply devoted to Carter and would do anything for him. Their bond was and will always remain.
Tramel was preceded in death by his mother, Hede Jo Richardson; his maternal grandparents, Levi and Mable Richardson; his paternal grandparents, Tence and Odell McCain.
He leaves fond and loving memories to his beloved son, Carter Tramel Richardson (Chakia Dixon) of Chester, South Carolina; his father, Stanley McCain of Lancaster, South Carolina; his siblings, Wendell Richardson and Nicole (Reverend Marcus) Tolliver both of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Stanley Lavin McCain, Shawn McCain, Dimetrius McCain-Belk(Chris) all of Lancaster, South Carolina, Kidada Telfair (Gene) of Atlanta, Georgia, Shaili McCain of Galveston, Texas, Breana McCain pf Philadelpia, Pennsylvania, Donnisha Corley of Buffalo, New York; two favorite aunts, Bonnie Edmond of Lancaster, South Carolina and Hope McCain of Heath Springs, South Carolina; maternal uncle, Raymond (Maggie) Richardson of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his aunt, Ms. Yvonne βBonnieβ Edmond of 1777 Feature Road Lancaster, South Carolina.
Viewing will be from 2-7 PM Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls, South Carolina.
Arrangements are entrusted to Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls, South Carolina.
