Mrs. Peggy S. Weed passed on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the home of her daughter, Ms. Melissa Covin.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Ms. Weed will be held 2 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls, South Carolina with Reverend Tommy Powell-Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Great Falls South Carolina delivering the Words of Comfort. Mr. Eric Greene providing the music.

Peggy S. Weed was a resident of Great Falls, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Nancy Woods Stevenson and the late Mr. Jim Stevenson. She was born September 15, 1937 in Great Falls, South Carolina.

She was married for 35 years to Bobby Lee Weed of Winnsboro, South Carolina until his passing on December 15, 1989. They were the proud parents of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Thomas Weed and Donnie Weed; her sister, Dessie Amos.

Mrs. Weed leaves to cherish fond memories, her devoted and loving daughter, Melissa Covin; and a son, Michael Weed; two devoted grandchildren, Rebecca (Mikie) Sprowl and Daniel (Paula) Covin; her great-grandchildren, Abel Sprowl, Issac Sprowl, Phoebe Covin, Wilhelmina Covin; her sister, Lucille Stevenson; her brothers, Frank Stevenson, Ronald Stevenson, Robert Stevenson

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, yard sales and spending time with family. She had many friends and she will be greatly missed by them and her family

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, 107 Pine Terrace Street Great Falls, SC.
