Carmella Yvonne Carothers passed away on Friday,. August 9, 2019 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee at the age of 57. She was born in Davidson County, Tennessee to the parents of Martha Jane Britton Pinkerton and the late Eunice Pete Pinkerton, Sr.. . Those left behind to cherish her many memories; her husband, William Lewis Carothers; children, William (Gwangi) Patton, Manecca Patton and Carlos (Ty) Patton; grandchildren, William Patton, Jr., Kendall Amir Patton, Dontorious Wallace, Quandarious Wallace, David Patton, Asia Patton, Jamari Patton Cornesha Johnson and Chauvelle Johnson; great grandchild, Alijah Tucker; mother, Martha Jane Pinkerton; brothers, Eunice Pete (Deborah) Pinkerton, Jr. and Larry Michael (Brenda) Pinkerton; sisters-in-law, Martha Brown, Mary Sue Marsh, Rebecca Ann Carothers, Tennie Aileen (Jeff) Childress, Gloria Deen (Levert) Sullivan and Sandra Carothers; brothers-in-law, Daniel T. Carothers, Jr., James A. (Diane) Carothers, Noble Carothers, David "Chuckie" (Faye) Carothers and John (Susan) Carothers; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mrs. Carothers will lie in state on, Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 10 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Friday, August 16, 2019 from 11:00 until 12:00 at West Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church, 4141 Columbia Hwy. Franklin, Tennessee, with funeral to follow. Elder Larry Pinkerton, officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee.
