Clarence Edward Smithson's life came to an end on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the age of 79 at his residence in College Grove, Tennessee. Mr. Smithson was born on March 31, 1942 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of John Smithson and Nannie B. Mayberry Smithson.
Mr. Smithson leaves to cherish his many memories his daughter, Jennifer Smithson; sons, Minister Timothy Scott Smithson and Derrick (Heidi) Smithson; 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, sister, Mary Elizabeth Smithson; In-laws Elder Hewitt (Annie) Sawyers, Elder Paul (Arnell) Sawyers and Dorothy (Elder George) Acklin; nieces and nephews and a host of cousins other relatives, and friends.

Mr. Smithson will lie in state on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12 until 6 at the funeral home.
Visitation with family Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11 until 12 at Locust Ridge Primitive Baptist Church, 4991 Murfreesboro Road, with funeral to follow, Minister Sharon Martin, officiating and Pastor Brandon Mason eulogist.
Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens.
What a great, caring and wonderful man. Clarence always waved as he came by our place. He and his wife were wonderful parents, as is evidenced by his children. So many good memories! Love and prayers to all the family.
