Dama Hansen Johnson age 60 passed away at Alive Hospice of Nashville. He was born in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee to the parents of Sadie Mai Gordan and Dana Hall Johnson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory, his wife Amy Johnson; son, Dama Hansen Johnson, II, Anthony Tigg and Shayne Howse; grandchildren, Damaya Johnson and Shana Howse; sisters, Sharon (William) Fitzgerald-Foster, Denease Murray, Danette (Danny) Wilson and Ramona Johnson; god-children, Travis Woods, Jr. and Naomi King; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Howse and Sherrie Rives; brother-in-law, James (Jayne) Howse; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
*** Due to COVID-19 there is a limit of how many people can enter the chapel at a time but everyone will be allowed to flow in to view as well as speak to the family and flow back out to allow others the same opportunity. In order to enter the Church for viewing you MUST have on a mask per new regulation for the funeral home. You are responsible for supplying your own masks as well ***
Mr. Johnson will lie in state on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 12 until 4 at Merry Street Church of God 7th Day, 2416 Merry Street, Nashville, TN 37208.
Visitation with family Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 4 until 5 at Merry Street Church of God 7th Day, 2416 Merry Street, with funeral to begin at 5 P.M. Bishop Robert L. Ross, officiating.
Interment 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2020 at Greenwood North Cemetery, Goodlettsville, TN.
